Archie Raymond Duncan, age 69, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on January 11, 1956, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Dofus Raymond Duncan and Ina Mai (Duke) Duncan. He worked for NES for over 30 years before retiring. Raymond loved children and playing with his grandbabies. He enjoyed swimming, fishing, and cooking. He is preceded in death by his father, Dofus Raymond Duncan; daughter, Amanda Kay Duncan; brother, Robert Thomas Duncan; and sister, Donna Gail Cook. He is survived by his wife, Donna Kay (Batey) Duncan; mother, Ina Duncan; daughters, Angela Denise Duncan and Sheila Rena Duncan; brother, William Scott Duncan (Allison); sister, Angela Kay (Duncan) Magaha; brother-in-law and best friend, Roger Anderson; grandchildren, Cody Baker, Sarah Kay Cawthon, Kayla Baker, C.J. Cawthon, Brittany Cawthon, and Nathan Brooks; 5 great grandchildren and 1 more on the way. The family would like to thank 3rd Baptist Church for their support. Funeral service will be Friday, January 17, 2025, at 6pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother J.B. Miller officiating. Visitation will be the same day from 1pm until the service hour of 6pm. Serving as pallbearers will be C.J., Nate, Cody, Scotty, Tiger, and Ratt.
