TANSIL, April Tamara, age 29, passed away on November 20, 2013, at her home in Chapmansboro, TN. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Allen Mack Tansil, Sr., and uncle, Rocky Lane Tansil. She is survived by her parents, Randell and Beverly (Newland) Tansil; daughter, Alexis Lane Tansil; sister, Chassie (Greg) Combs; maternal grandparents, Bruce and Nancy Newland; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Tansil; and a host of survivors from the Tansil, Newland and Cannon families. April was a 2002 graduate of Sycamore High School, and a mother and homemaker to her daughter. Funeral service will be Friday, November 22, 2013, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Randy Corn officiating. Burial will follow in Ever Rest Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View, TN. Serving as pallbearers will be Ray Carter, Randell Tansil, Bo Tansil, Tiger Tansil, Greg Combs, Bruce "Pap" Newland, Sr., Bruce Newland, Jr., and Dakota Tansil. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, November 21, 2013, from 2pm to 7pm and on Friday from 10am until service hour of 2pm.
