Anthony Ray Ackerman, age 53, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023. He was born in Pittsburg, California, on December 11, 1969, to the late Dean Harvey Connerley and Doris (Gibson) Miller. Anthony served in the United States Army and later worked as an MRO Lead for AO Smith for 29 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dean Connerly and Doris Miller; wife, Monica Ackerman; and grandmother, Rozella Loyd. He is survived by his wife, Juanita (Burgess) Ackerman; daughters, Demi Kirk Toro and Donnie Kirk Luchetti; stepdaughter, Amber McCaffrey (Daniel); uncle, Bill Gibson (Roseann); and grandchildren, Haven McCaffrey, Phoenix McCaffrey, David McCaffrey, and John Kirk Luchetti. Funeral service will be Friday, December 15, 2023, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Randy Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Bearwallow Community Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 3pm to 7pm and Friday, December 15, 2023, from 10am until the service hour of 1pm. Serving as pallbearers will be LeRoy Binkley, Daniel McCaffrey, John Smith, Brandon Pylant, Daniel Burgess, and Quint Hafner.
