Angie Denney, age 36, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and formerly of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on February 28, 1980, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Alton Denney and Mari Ratliff Denney. Angie was a member of the Cheatham County High School Class of 1998, attended MTSU, and graduated from Cedar Valley Community College with a licensed veterinarian tech degree. She worked previously at O'Charley's as a manager and most recently for Banfield Animal Hospital as a Licensed Veterinarian Tech. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed. Angie leaves to cherish her memory, her mother and father, Alton and Mari Denney; sister, Paige (Joshua) Sanders; niece, Eden Sanders and nephews, Jackson, Anderson, Joseph and Abram Sanders; and her pups, Homie and Dolly. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Cliett Goodpasture officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 18, 2016, from 4pm to 8pm and on Tuesday from 9am until service hour of 11am. Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Hirsch, Frank Mull, Joshua Sanders, Brian Savasta, Bryan Strevel, Bill Parsley, Meliton Cancino, Josh Robinson, and Lee Vinson. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Sanders, Jimmy Butts, Jeff Butler, Teri Robinson, Leslie Sliger, Vernon Martin and MTSU Old Girls.
