Amy Paulette "Polly" Hurry, age 76, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on January 13, 1949, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Harold G. Phillips and Mildred (Parker) Phillips. She worked for General Motors in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Polly is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mildred Phillips; brother, Harold "Skip" Phillips, Jr.; sister, Dianne Veach; and grandson, Buddy Ryan. She is survived by her sons, Michael Lee, Sean Phillips, and Joshua Hurry (Amber); daughters, Wendy Lee and Sonya Rahn; brother, David Phillips (Wanda); sisters, Mickey Monette and Brenda Montgomery (Curley); 13 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday, June 27, 2025, at 1pm at Scottsboro First Baptist Church 5253 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville, TN 37218 with Dr. Stanley Outlaw officiating. Burial will follow in Randal-Parker Memorial Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation will be the same day from 10am until the service hour of 1pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Curley Montgomery, David Phillips, and family and friends.
