Alma Elizabeth "Liz" Davis, age 81, passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, Feb 2, 2020. Liz was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee, on June 21, 1938. She is preceded in death by parents, Sam Harper and Georgia Pearl Harper; husband, William (Baldy) Davis; sister, Ruth Gibbs; and daughter, Wanda Faye Binkley. Survived by, daughters, Betty Gibbs (Gary), Camille Gilmer (Vick); sister, Ann Harper; 6 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gibbs Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday and Tuesday, February 3 and 4th, from 12noon to 7pm and on Wednesday, February 5th, from 9am until service hour of 1pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnathan Peden, Wayne Peden, Dakota Peden, Tyler Cherry, Johnny Archey, and PawPaw Johnny Cook.
