BOYD, Alma Russell, age 84, passed away on October 14, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Beulah Morris Boyd; son, Michael Russell Boyd, and sister, Lucy Biggs. He is survived by his daughters, Wanda "David" Gilman, Laverne "Gary" Diviney, Sandy "Billy" Perry, Debra "Taft Jr." Smith; brothers, C.L. "Cliff" Boyd, Fred "Marie" Boyd, Kenneth "Ivy Lou" Boyd, Marvis "Peggy" Boyd; sisters, Ruth Crabtree, Jenny Stanley, Dot "J.B." Newman, and Faye Davis; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Cecil Boswell officiating. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 11am to 8pm and on Wednesday from 9am until funeral hour of 11am. Burial will follow in the Felts Cemetery in Ashland City, TN.
