Alice Faye Edwards, age 81, met her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, December 19, 2021. Faye was born in Hohenwald, Tennessee, on January 16, 1940, to the late Robert Earl McDonald and Alva Pearl (Skelton) McDonald Coop. She was a faithful wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. Her family and friends will remember her infectious smile. Faye was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 62 years, Leon Edwards; daughter, Tammy (Lee) Stacey; son, Timothy (Sharon) Edwards; sisters, Elsie Gray, Jewel Keiner, and Dorothy "Dot" Brewer; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer (Phillip) Cerrillo, Andrea (Joey) Hurley, and Jonathan (Ashley) Stacey; as well as 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral service for Faye will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 1pm in the Chapel of Bellevue Baptist Church, 7400 US 70 South, Nashville, Tennessee, 37221. Burial will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Mike Shelton and Brother W.D. Thomason will officiate the service. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at the funeral home from 4pm to 7pm and on Wednesday at the church from 11am until service hour of 1pm. Serving as active pallbearers are Jonathan Stacey, Lee Aldridge, Phillip Cerrillo, Dewey Puckett, Timothy Edwards, and Lee Stacey. Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandsons, Eli Hurley, Evan Cerrillo, Joshua Stacey, Michael Cerrillo, and Jake Hurley.
