ORDENELLA “SIS” J. JOHNSON, age 84, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017. She was born on October 18, 1932, in Fairview, Tennessee, to the late Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Vanatta Jones. Sis was a Member of New Hope Church of Christ, a graduate of Hillsboro High School and a housewife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Danny Ray Johnson; her brother, Ralph “Perry” Jones, and her sister, Jneall Duck. She is survived by her husband, Ray O. Johnson; son, Tommy W. (Brenda) Johnson, of Fairview, TN; 3 brothers: James E. (Barbara) Jones, Darrell Jones, Brent (Elaine) Jones, all of Fairview, TN; 6 sisters, Patsy Collier of Burns, TN; Sue (Frank) Mangrum of Harrison, AR; Margie Kempke, Sharon (James) Collier, Joan (Grover) Warren, and Peggy Mangrum, all of Fairview, TN; 3 grandchildren, Jessica (Randy) James, Tracey (Scott) Anderson, and Landis Johnson; and 4 great-grandchildren: Dani and Trey James and Parker and Ava Anderson. Funeral service for Sis will be Saturday, August 19, 2017, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother James McGill and Brother James E. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Gillin Cemetery in White Bluff, TN. Visitation with the family will be Friday, August 18, 2017, from 3pm to 7pm and on Saturday, August 19th from 11am until service hour of 1pm.
