Montie Carol Langley

Montie Carol Langley, age 67, passed away on January 27, 2022. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on November 12, 1954. She was a branch manager for the Department of Safety for 33 years. Montie is preceded in death by her parents, James and Beatrice “Nanny Bea” Thornton; brothers, Ronnie Thornton and Randy Thornton; mother-in-law, Mabel Delois Langley; and sister-in-law, Diane Lynn Thornton. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Michael Langley; father-in-law, Vincent Ross Langley; son, Andrew (Misty) Langley; daughters, Melissa Langley (William “Bubba”) Eslick and Amy (Billy) Harris; brother, Donnie Thornton; sisters-in-law, Ronda Thornton and Caren Thornton; grandchildren, Kevin Eslick, Presley Langley, Sierra Harris, Ethen Harris, Madelyn Langley, Eryn Langley, and Kassidy Eslick. Funeral service for Montie will be Sunday, January 30th, 2022 at 2pm in the chapel with Pastor David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow in Cowden Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Saturday, January 29th, from 12noon to 7pm and on Sunday from 10am until the hour of service. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Richardson, Andrew Langley, William Eslick, Kevin Eslick, Billy Harris, and Ethen Harris.
