Austin Michael Turner, age 26, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on March 2, 1998, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Joshua Michael Turner and Brandi Nicole Maynard. Austin was a graduating member of Cheatham County High School Class of 2016. He was self-employed as a contractor. He will always be remembered for his kindness. He was the kind of man to always turn the other cheek. Austin was a giver and a great big brother. He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Marjorie Rudder. He is survived by his father, Joshua Turner (Meagan); mother, Brandi Maynard; sisters, Taylor Felts (Zachary), Maisie Mae Plants, Avalyn Turner, and Beatrix Turner; grandparents, Janet Hope, Michael Turner, Robin Torske (Barbara), and Tina Hatlee(Norman); devoted friends, Nick Batts (Madison), Erin Lane (Peyton), David Andrews (Tahnika Rowe), Colin Kriminger, Reagan Barber (Jorden), and Drew Barnes; and everyone whose lives he touched. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 3pm to 7pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. A private graveside service at Will-Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee, will be held at a later date.
